Meet Aurora Aksnes

The first time we saw 18 year young Aurora Aksnes from Norway was at Sofar Sounds. She describes her sound as experimental-electronic-pop but often performs an acoustic set with her guitarist Odd Martin Skålnes.

Last week Aurora’s first music video for her single “Runaway” was revealed:

Aurora is signed to the powerhouse record company Glasshouse in the US and is in the process of recording her debut album.

Aurora will play at the Great Escape Festival in Brighton which is on the 14th – 16th of May, get tickets HERE. She’s also playing in Australia and the US this year.
