Gig review: Young fathers at NOS Alive 2015

One of our favourite picks at NOS Alive was Young Fathers. This Scottish hip hop and pop band got the attention of the crowd at the Heineken Stage on Thursday July 9th as one of the early acts at the festival.

The band consist of Graham Hastings, Alloysious Massaquoi and Kayus Bankole, at NOS Alive also joined by a powerful drummer.

With their lyrics, filled with a strong humanitarian awareness and energy, they won the hearts and the voices of the audience. When their song “Nest”, finished, some couldn’t get the word “baby” out of their heads.
