Meet James Canty

Essex born James Canty is yet another talent from the music greenhouse Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts.  Producer Joe Wills (Dan Croll, Stealing Sheep, Mikhael Paskalev) says on his Facebook:”This might be the closest I’ve come to perfection in artistic endeavours so far.”

Had Clint Eastwood ever been in a movie about being the first man on the moon, we reckon this should have been on the score.

With Pete Townsend giving you your first Banjo lesson, it’s not a surprise he’s debuted as a folk artist in 2012 with EP “Shark In The Shallows” (tune nowhere to be found online – James, we loved it).
